Carving on the Edge Festival is moving to a biennial festival, celebrated every two years. As we expand our programs and talent we will be building an even richer festival experience in 2020.
Since 2010, the festival has continued to grow thanks to the artists, advisors, sponsors, and community members that contribute their dedicated support and enthusiasm year after year. Perspectives from a wide diversity of carvers and artists have fueled the expansion and innovation of the festival.
We are currently seeking Creative Directors to curate the 2020 festival program, and gathering ideas for contemporary carving themes to explore. We invite carvers and artists to get in touch if they are interested in featuring any current or future projects in 2020. We also welcome any recommendations for workshop instructors or featured speakers that you would like to see included in the 2020 programming.
The Carving on the Edge Festival inspires the growth of the traditional and contemporary west coast carving arts through celebration, education and relationship-building.
We asked you: “What is unique about the Carving on the Edge Festival?”
