Community-led research project collecting information about Nuu-chah-nulth ancestral treasures and cultural knowledge

About the Living ARchive

The Nuu-chah-nulth Living Archive is a community-led research project that collects information about Nuu-chah-nulth ancestral treasures and cultural knowledge currently being held in museums and archives all over the world. We are currently exploring various innovative ways to share our research with local culture keepers and artists with the intention of stimulating discussion and cultural renewal. This project is led by Nuu-chah-nulth people, creating resources for Nuu-chah-nulth people with the administrative support of the Carving on the Edge Festival Society.
